Highlights and commentary from the Manchester United vs. Fulham game as Fernandes and Sabitzer score after Willian and Mitrovic are sent

On Sunday afternoon, Manchester United overcame Fulham to advance to the FA Cup semifinals.

After overcoming Real Betis 1-0 away from home in midweek, United advanced to the quarterfinals of the Europa League. Marcus Rashford's lone goal in the second leg helped the Reds easily win the match 5-1 overall.

The team of Erik ten Hag is currently the overwhelming favorite to take home that European title, and this season, the FA Cup is another opportunity to win a trophy.

United was the favorite to beat Fulham and go to the FA Cup semi-finals, but the London club was superior throughout the first half and Aleksandar Mitrovic gave them the lead right after the interval.

After a turbulent few minutes during which Willian was dismissed for handling the ball on the goalline and Mitrovic and Marco Silva both made loud protestations, the Reds attempted to retaliate to that setback, and the game was eventually gloriously thrown up.

Marcel Sabitzer scored shortly after Bruno Fernandes' penalty kick, and in extra time, Bruno Fernandes made it 3-1.
