The latest batch of Call of Duty: Warzone patch notes detail everything new for season 2, and there's a lot to unpack.

One of the big headliners is the new Nebula V ammo, which packs the same initial punch as regular ammo but emits poisonous gas that gives its victims fits of coughing and blurred vision and damages their health over time. Armored convoys carrying Nebula V will be patrolling the map on a set loop, and if you manage to destroy one before it kills you, you'll earn yourself some pretty valuable loot.

Warzone season 2 also adds a couple of new ways you can take to the skies and get the drop on your opponents. Redeploy balloons let you reposition yourself on the map for a tactical advantage, but the downside is that they can be destroyed by other players, in which case you'll need to pay to have them repaired. Bomber planes have also arrived, which have the capability to destroy infantry, vehicles, and even loadout drops.

As ever, the new season brings new weapons to pew-pew with, including the KG M40 assault rifle and Whitley light machine gun, which are available now with the battle pass. The Ice Axe and Armaguerra 43 SMG are coming later on in the season.(Visit Store: metaunisex.com)

Map changes include the chemical factory where Nebula V is manufactured and seven separate underground chemical weapon research labs ripe for looting. Just watch out for Axis soldiers patrolling the new points of interest; take 'em down for "powerful rewards."

Caldera Clash is a new limited-time mode available right now with a fresh spin on Clash. In it, teams of up to 48 players face off in a deathmatch with wild events and power-ups to shake things up. Power zones are events that can occur in place of the final C Domination Point in which all kills are worth double inside the zone, and there's a 100% chance players drop power-ups when they drop inside them. Another new mode, Rebirth Iron Trials, is due to go live sometime in-season.
